The Vice-Chancellor, 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof.聽Olufemi Peters, has approved聽some聽series of appointments聽that聽see聽the聽former聽Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences,聽Prof.聽Wilfred N. Ugwuanyi, assuming office as the new聽Chairman,聽Committee of聽Deans and聽Directors (CDD),聽Examination and Assessment (DEA).
鈥淭he Committee, which comprises of all the Deans of the several聽Faculties shall advise the Vice-Chancellor on all academic matters and on particular matters referred to the University Council by the Senate,鈥澛燼 memo dated聽January 18,聽2024聽and signed by the聽Registrar, Mr.聽Oladipo Ajayi, said.
Also,聽Prof.聽Sami M. Ayodele, the immediate-past聽Centre聽Director, Abuja Model Study Centre, Dutse Alhaji,聽will assume office as the new Director,聽Directorate of Research and Administration聽of the university.
The appointment conveyed in a memo dated聽January 18,聽2024聽and signed by the聽Registrar, Mr.聽Oladipo Ajayi, said聽鈥淭his appointment is in addition to your official schedule as Professor in the Department of聽Biological Sciences, Faculty of聽Sciences,鈥
On his part,聽Dr. Lukman K. Bello, will be the new聽Ag. Director,聽Directorate聽of Learning Content Management System (LCMS), according to聽a memo dated聽January聽18,聽2024聽and signed by the聽Registrar,聽Mr.聽Oladipo Ajayi.
According to the memo, it said 鈥淎s the Ag. Director of Learning Content Management System, you shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the Directorate.鈥
Ms. Dinah D. Abass of the Directorate of Procurement is to assume office as the Director, Directorate of Procurement, while her predecessor,聽QS. Kazeem O. Onubaiye is聽to now聽Head聽the聽Procurement聽at the聽African Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning (ACETEL).
His appointment was conveyed in a memo dated January 18, 2024 and signed by the Registrar, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi, which added that 鈥淎s the head procurement (ACETEL), you shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor through the Director, (ACETEL) for all procurement activities in the Directorate.鈥
All the appointments took聽effect from聽January聽22, 2024, as the trio聽of聽Ugwuanyi, Ayodele and Bello聽have聽an initial period聽of two (2) years and renewable for another term subject to satisfactory performance.
In a related development,聽Dr. Paul A. Ifeanyi聽has been聽recalled from the Special Study Centre for Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Sauka聽and will now be the聽Ag. Director聽in聽the Registry, according to聽a memo dated聽January 18,聽2024聽and signed by the聽Registrar, Mr.聽Oladipo Ajayi.
