Students of the Department of Environmental Health Science, Faculty of Health Sciences, 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN), on Tuesday,聽August聽29,聽2023聽undertook聽practical aspects of their academic courses at聽the聽Enugu Study Centre,聽Enugu State.
While declaring the event open, the centre聽Director, Prof. Alexander Uche Onyia, charged students to give the exercise the serious attention it deserves.
He added that the practical聽exercises聽were part of the pre-requisites聽for graduation.
Students who participated in the exercise were drawn from all the study centres in the South-east region.
While Dr Ayodeji Idowu, engaged students in EHS 209- General Biochemistry, Eya Chukwunoso Patrick, undertook students in EHS 213 – General Microbiology practicals.
Idowu, in his chat with NOUN news correspondent said that the practicals were聽 designed聽 for students to acquire Practical knowledge and聽 translate the theory into real life situation.
He added that聽 it promote students skills development, research purposes, even as聽 corroborated by Eya.
The event ended smoothly with questions and answers.
