The students of 300 level Business Creation and Growth (GST302) had on Saturday,聽October聽21,聽2023 presented idea proposals at聽the聽Kaduna Study聽Centre of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN).
The facilitator of the exercise聽and聽Coordinator,聽North-west Incubation Centre,聽Mr.聽Sadik Murtala Mansur,聽explained that any NOUN student enrolled in the 300 level must develop a business idea proposals and make presentation聽as part of the course鈥檚聽requirements.
In addition,聽this is聽a requirement in order to establish a business plan or create a more sustainable roadmap for an already existing business, said Mansur.
He added that聽the Directorate聽of聽Entrepreneurship and General Studies was聽saddled聽with聽the聽responsibility聽to anchor the course by teaching entrepreneurial skills in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Moreover,聽students were given the task of choosing an SDG target and relating it to one of their business ideas in order to demonstrate how the goal affects and is related to the concepts they have chosen, the coordinator said.
He highlighted that during course of the presentation, potential incubatees were identified, and those who met the requirements will go through the incubation processes to learn, connect with mentors, and equip themselves with all they聽require.
