The Dean,聽School of Postgraduate Studies聽(SPGS),聽Prof.聽S.J.聽Oniye,聽has聽monitored聽the conduct of聽the ongoing 2023_2 POP Examination聽at the Badagry Study Centre, Lagos State.
Oniye,聽who arrived at the聽centre very early,聽was received by the聽centre聽director, Dr. Julius Paul Eyanuku, and the staff members.
As an essential part of his monitoring assignment, Oniye took note of the written courses to ascertain whether they were administered as scheduled on the examination timetable.
He聽also inspected the examination venue, furniture, hall capacity, examination administration, and health services and聽offered some general observations.
The dean聽further made it a point of duty to visit the聽store聽section with the聽director to ascertain whether the study materials were adequately circulated to the students.
Oniye, however,聽did not fail to note the challenges being faced by the聽study聽centre, both during examinations and normal academic sessions.
He noted聽that聽some material resources聽are聽needed at the聽centre聽such as a well-equipped science laboratory and a giant soundproof generator to supply power.
