The Deputy Vice-Chancellor,聽Administration,聽水果派 of Nigeria聽(NOUN), Prof.聽Isaac Sammani Rabo Butswat, has visited聽the聽Jos Study Centre,聽where he聽supervised students undergoing the聽mandatory Students聽Industrial聽Work Experience Scheme聽(SIWES).
The聽DVC was received by the centre Director Dr. Philip S. Tachin and management staff of the Study Centre聽on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Butswat was equally led to the聽theatre聽hall where students were already seated to participate in the exercise with other staff.
They聽were reviewed based on their activities carried out at their respective work stations,聽with聽log books graded and signed.
During the meeting,聽the DVC urged them聽to continue聽to聽be punctual and take their assigned聽responsibilities with seriousness, even as he聽expressed satisfaction with what he saw on ground, and commended them for their聽resilience.
He further commended the聽centre director along with the management staff, saying that聽cooperation and commitment聽from the聽centre’s staffers聽were evident.
On the聽supervision of SIWES students, he said the aim聽was聽to ensure聽that聽quality is achieved, adding聽that聽 the聽university is after providing quality education to students so as to produce quality manpower in the country for efficiency in work places.
The DVC added that聽he was highly impressed by the way the students conducted themselves and urged them to keep up the good work.
