The visiting team,聽led by the Zonal Head,聽Mr. M.M Zillang,聽were received by the study centre director,聽Dr. Adamu Bappah and his management team.
Zillang stated that they were delighted to be at the聽centre in compliance with the mandate placed by the聽commission for all聽zonal聽offices to create awareness in the various government parastatals and agencies within the region on the corporate activities of the commission.
A paper, titled “Overview of the Contributory Pension Scheme, and was presented by Mr. Bashir Kasim Umar, a NOUN Alumni with Masters in Public Administration.
It was quite an interesting session as NOUN聽staff were carried along, enlightened and well informed as well as聽seized聽the opportunity to ask聽questions聽on various issues of concern.
The Zonal Head presented聽FAQ聽booklets about聽the commission,聽while the聽Gombe centre director聽presented NOUN advocacy materials and accessories to the聽visiting guests, expressing hope that more of PenCom staff enroll into NOUN.
