The Principal聽Assistant聽Registrar, Owhrode Community Study Centre, Owhrode, Delta State,聽Mrs. Roseline Omale,聽has聽led other members of staff of the study centre to Edjophe Area Customary Court on聽an聽advocacy visit.
Omale, who acts as centre director of the centre, the last substantive centre director having recently retired from service, explained to the judiciary personnel聽during the visit on聽Wednesday, September 14, 2022,聽the admission processes of the university and programmes available at both undergraduate and graduate levels of the university.
She also talked about the advantages of studying at NOUN:聽the flexibility of academic programmes, the ubiquitous learning system at learner鈥檚 pace, cost-effectiveness of tuition as well as the JAMB-free access to admission.
Corroborating Omale鈥檚 views on the advantages of studying at NOUN, Francis Osogolo, an聽Assistant聽Registrar, counseled the judiciary workers to take advantage of the flexibility, accessibility and affordability of NOUN programmes to enroll to upgrade their intellectual and academic status.

Responding, the court鈥檚 registrar, Mr.Rufus Chikezie, who received the NOUN delegation on behalf of the presiding magistrate who was not available, expressed delight at the visit聽 and thanked Omale and her team for sparing time to visit and enlighten them on the all-important opportunity to get his members of staff sensitised on what NOUN offers.
Chikezie, who explained how he had to travel long distances to obtain education and his university degree in his time, charged the judicial workers to seize the opportunity of education at their very doorsteps as offered by NOUN to build themselves up for a successful career in the judiciary and other areas of human endeavour.
In a related development, the advocacy team of聽the centre also visited the meeting of school owners and leaders in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, where the proprietors were meeting with the chief education inspector in charge of the area, Mrs. A. J. Aigboboh.
There at the meeting, the acting centre director also published the good news of Open and Distance Learning (ODL).
