The聽Director,聽Enugu Study Centre, Prof. Alexander Uche Onyia, has on Friday,聽May聽19,聽2023 charged staff to double their efforts for optimal service delivery in view of the forthcoming conference marking exercise and e-examination.
The two exercises are聽scheduled to kick-start聽on the same week, with the former commencing on聽Tuesday,聽May聽23, while the latter on聽Thursday,聽May聽25,聽2023聽across the country.
He stated this while holding聽a brief meeting with his staff at聽the centre聽in聽Enugu State.
The meeting, according to Onyia, became necessary in order to聽marshal聽out strategies that would be deployed during the period for聽successful exercises.
The director informed staff that the 2023_1 examination scripts collation from study centres will commence on Saturday and terminate on Monday,聽May聽22, 2023 as such, he said,聽all hands must be on deck to ensure that scripts are collated, counted, checked and arranged properly for onward handling over to the subject officers.
Onyia warned staff on聽dangers of lateness to office and nonchalant attitude, stressing that聽the聽university management would punish offenders.
The director delineated duties/responsibilities among staff for effectiveness and admonished them to imbibe the culture of integrity in the discharge of their duties.
He commended the staff for their cooperation during the just concluded POP examination and sought for same cooperation during the upcoming one as well as the conference marking exercise.
