Ojo monitors exams

The Director,聽Directorate of聽Exams and Assessments (DEA), Prof. Olugbenga Ojo, has undertaken series of monitoring excises of the ongoing POP-examination in some study聽centres within the Abuja metropolis.

Ojo,聽who started the聽exercise聽on Tuesday,聽October 25 2022,聽first聽visited the Wuse II Study Centre to inspect the commencement of the 22022-2 POP聽examination and was received by the聽director of the centre,聽Prof. Grace I. Okoli,聽who conducted him round the centre and the exams halls.

The聽visiting聽director聽expressed satisfaction聽with the conduct聽of the exercise at the centre and聽commended Okoli for the smooth take-off of the examination.

He聽then聽proceeded to the Abuja Model Study Centre and聽the National Union of Road and聽Transport Workers (NURTW) Centre聽as the latter normally take its examination at the Dutse-Alhaji centre聽.

He was received by the directors of the two centres,聽Prof. Sami M. Ayodele and Mrs. Patience A. Adeniyi,聽who took him round the examination halls where the director was pleased with the conduct and orderly manner of the examination.

In his interaction with Mrs. Adeniyi,聽he assured that the little hitches experienced in the delay of the examination question for the day would be perfected onwards.

Similarly, the director, on Wednesday,聽October, 26 2022, was at the聽Special聽Study聽Centre for the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense聽Corps聽(NSCDC),聽Sauka, where he was received by the centre聽director,聽Dr. Ifeanyi Paul,聽who took him round.

Ojo鈥檚 pleasure聽with the conduct of the examination聽was evident, even as he,聽however, encouraged the director and staff to ensure that examinations commence at the stipulated times.

While at the聽Special聽Study聽Centre for the Nigerian Correctional Service,聽the DEA director聽was received by the聽centre鈥檚 director, Mr. Adam IIemna Omale, and was conducted round the exam hall where he also interacted with the staff.

Afterwards,聽he commended聽his host and the聽staff,聽emphasizing聽the re-introduction of聽invigilation聽allowance in the tandem with the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 promise of improved staff welfare since assumption of office.
