The 水果派 of Nigeria Alumni聽Association聽(NOUNAA),聽Jigawa State Chapter,聽has congratulated the newly appointed Dutse Study Centre director,聽Dr. Ahmad Tanimu Mahmud, on his appointment as the new聽centre director.

The body also聽pledged its聽support聽with a view to聽uplifting聽the聽centre and the university at large to a greater height.

The聽chairman of the聽state鈥檚 chapter, Mallam Mohammed Bello,聽who led聽a聽delegation聽to the centre,聽said the association deemed it necessary to welcome the new director and also to create a enabling environment for maintaining the good relationship聽existing with the centre.

This,聽he said, will no doubt help encourage聽the new helmsman聽to further improve on the current advocacy activities the association聽has been聽conducting in the聽state.

Bello聽further assured that the association will continue to educate people in the聽state about the existence of the university and the endless opportunities it brings聽to the people’s doors聽steps.

He聽pleaded for an office space as the one previously allocated to them formed part of the section affected by inferno that engulfed聽the聽centre,聽recently.

Responding, the director聽assured them of his willingness聽to work with them so as to contribute聽towards聽attaining the ultimate goals the university set to achieve.

He promised to聽provide all the necessary support the association聽would need聽from the聽centre in order聽to bolster its聽activities.

A befitting office for the day-to-today running of the聽association will surely be provided once the聽centre secures聽the space聽it is courting,聽said Mahmoud.

The director聽thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them聽of聽his supports.
