The 13th聽Convocation Ceremony of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN) is scheduled to hold between April 12 – 13, 2024, according to an announcement from the Registrar of the university, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi.
The announcement said the ceremony will hold both on-site and off-site as those billed to attend the on-site event were urged to be seated before 9am at the university鈥檚 Convocation Arena, Jabi, Abuja.
The Convocation Lecture, which will hold on April 12 by 11am, is to be delivered by the Vice-Chancellor, Open University of Tanzania, United Republic of Tanzania, Prof. Elifas Tozo Bisanda, on the topic: 鈥淚s Western Education Still Relevant for Africa?鈥
The Convocation Ceremony, where the graduands would be awarded various degrees, will hold on April 13 by 10am at the Convocation Arena of the university, the announcement said.
It added that only first-class graduands, first-degree graduands in the study centres of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), PGD, award winners, masters degrees, doctorates degree graduands and honourary doctorate degrees are to attend the on-site ceremony at the university headquarters.
The ceremonies will be preceded by an Investiture of His Majesty, Omo N鈥 Oba N鈥橢do Uku鈥 Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin, as Chancellor of the university on Thursday, April 11, 2024 by 12noon at the university鈥檚 Convocation Arena, Jabi, Abuja.
