
Marafa monitors exams Kaduna
The聽University Bursar, Mr. Nasiru Marafa,聽has said that examinations monitoring is imperative in聽such a way that it聽ensures聽a proper compliance with the laid down rules governing the聽conduct of the examination.
The聽University Bursar stated this in an interactive session with聽水果派 News聽shortly after monitoring the conduct of the ongoing 2022_2 Pen-on-Paper examination at聽the聽Kaduna聽Study聽Centre.
Marafa said his visit was to聽further ensure that the invigilators at the聽centre maintain active surveillance for every moment of the聽exercise.
On the importance of examination to students,聽he maintained that it improves聽learning and enables聽students to take a new information.
He added that it helps聽to widen the students鈥櫬爃orizon and make them outstanding and has聽helped many to become readers,聽learners and researchers.
Therefore, the bursar added,聽this can only be achieved聽with effective and efficient monitoring of the administration and conduct of the examinations.
He urged the management of the聽centre to put all efforts and maintain standard in conducting the examination.
This will ensure that smooth and seamless exercise is recorded throughout the examination聽period, Marafa said.
On his part, the聽Director,聽Kaduna Study Centre, Mr. Yusuf Abdullahi, said so far the ongoing examination聽at聽the聽centre has continued to enjoy seamless streak.
The聽centre has achieved聽this through the collective efforts of the staff and the binding spirit of team work put in place,聽said Abdullahi.
He assured the university management聽of his聽continued聽effort聽to ensure that聽success would always become the end result.
The director hinted out that maintaining standard and uplifting the standard of the university to the greater heights is聽his聽topmost priority.
