The聽水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN) Committee on Examination聽Malpractice has commenced sitting for the South-west students at the Lagos office with the aim to provide a fair hearing to those allegedly involved in wrongdoings during聽the 2021_1 and 2021_2 examinations.

The hearing, which took place聽at the Lagos Study Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, was presided over by the聽panel鈥檚 chairman and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Uduma O. Uduma.

The exercise was carried out as mandated by the university聽to checkmate students’ activities during examination, maintaining the standard of zero tolerance for malpractices set by the university.

The panel鈥檚 chairman聽explained the need for students to adhere to the rules that govern their stay in the university, particularly during examinations to prevent unsavoury challenges that can befall them in their course of study.

He stressed that the flexibility of the mode of study afforded students is not an excuse for misbehaviour.

Undergraduate聽students聽involved in the exercise have been alleged to falter in the laws governing examinations last year, a breach of the code of conduct as students of the university.
