NCS visits Gwagwalada
The Gwagwalada Study聽Centre聽of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN)聽has聽played host to聽the聽new Controller of the Nigeria Correctional Services聽(NCS), FCT,聽Mr. Mohammed Hamisu,聽who paid a courtesy visit to the聽centre on聽November聽9,聽2022.
The controller and his team were received by the Centre Director, Dr. Adakole Odike and other members of staff of the centre.
The director,聽while welcoming the team to the聽centre,聽informed聽them on the mission and vision of the university, and urged him to maintain the cordial and close relationship they had with the formal controller.
The director also stressed the need for a collaboration with the command that will benefit both the command and the university.
In his response, the controller expressed his delight and thanked the聽university for contributing its quota in the national educational section.
Hamisu聽further stressed the need for the university to educate its students and staff to be security conscious because of the security challenges the nation is facing.
He also stated that the聽centre is lucky to have been located among the security institution, as he promised a good and cordial relationship with the聽centre.
The director later took him on the tour of the聽centre and all the facilities in the centre.
