
A delegation led by the director of the聽Special Study Centre,聽Nigerian Air Force Base,聽Prof. Nda Mundi,聽has visited the newly-appointed Commandant of the Nigerian Air Force Base,聽Kaduna,聽Air Commodore Muhammad Adamu Garba.
The visit,聽according to聽Mundi who extended the felicitation of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Femi Peters,聽was to congratulate the聽commandant, familiarise and intimate聽him聽on the already existing relationship between the two parties and also to build on it.
Equally,聽Mundi聽added, the visit was also to appeal to the new聽commandant on the need to intervene and follow up on the already tabled demands聽of the聽centre which hace聽been receiving attention at the NAF headquarters聽in聽Abuja.
水果派 News聽recalls聽that the聽centre had聽requested for more infrastructural buildings聽to fill the deficit in the area of office accommodation,聽e-exam聽and Pen-on-Paper examination and聽others.
In聽his聽response,聽Air Commodore Garba thanked the NOUN delegation for the visit,聽stating聽that聽the university聽is key in educational development in Nigeria.
He聽said聽power shift within the NAF formation is the stumbling block聽that delays聽the execution of the project, expressing his belief that聽the request is strongly being聽considered.
The聽Air Commodore聽promised to dig-in聽to the files and see the necessary effort to be made in聽terms of follow up within a short period聽and聽assured聽the visitors of聽his continued support to the聽centre.
The director was accompanied by the聽centre’s Head of聽Administration聽and Principal Assistant Registrar, Mrs.聽Jagila Bitiyong, Mrs.Victoria Ochogwu and Head of ICT,聽Mr. Bashir Muhammad.
