The Masari Community Study Centre, Katsina State,聽has visited the Dan Galadiman Katsina,聽District聽Head of Malumfashi, Justice Saddiq Abdullahi Mahuta聽(rtd)聽at his Palace聽in聽Malumfashi Local聽Government聽Area of Katsina,聽where the centre聽solicited for advocacy support in order to boost聽its聽enrolment聽base.
The聽centre director, Dr.聽(Mrs.)聽Hannatu Isa Dodo, who led the team of other senior staffers of the聽centre, expressed that it聽was聽pertinent聽for the聽centre to engage in massive聽advocacy聽and seek for the support聽of聽elders in the area to boost enrolment into the university.
She added聽that聽this聽was necessary because it’s one of the topmost mission of the administration of the聽Vice-Chancellor,聽Prof.聽Olufemi Peters of ensuring聽that a聽massive enrolment is recorded.
Dodo further stated that the聽centre has come to stay and is for the benefit of the good people of Katsina and the southern part of state in particular.
Being a stakeholder in education,聽Dodo deemed聽it聽necessary for the聽centre to visit the Dan聽Galadiman Katsina in order聽to seek for his blessings in聽terms of advocacy.
The team also used the opportunity to seek for the聽king maker’s聽possible and necessary intervention in聽the study centre so as to聽boost its聽stability.
On his聽part, the Dan Galadiman聽Katsina promised to support the community study聽centre聽in all聽possible聽ways in order to bring about positive developments聽to聽the聽centre.
He added that they will do all they could to educate people about the existence of the聽university and the bountiful benefits that await them to harness.
The聽king maker, therefore,聽appreciated聽the visit and promised the聽centre the contribution of聽his聽palace.
The聽centre’s senior councillor, Mr.聽Idris Ahmad Idris, Mr. Salim Ibrahim Ismail, and聽a聽host of others were among the entourage聽that visited the king maker.
