A Deputy Registrar, Academic Registry, Mr. Ajayi Ladipo, has monitored the administration of the ongoing 2022_1 Pen-on-Paper examination at聽Kagoro Study Centre.
Mr. Ladipo, expressed satisfaction with the way the聽centre is handling聽the exercise.
He聽said聽the purpose of monitoring the conduct of聽the examination is to ensure that all聽study聽centres comply with all the rules and regulations governing the conduct of examination in NOUN.
He added that they monitor to ensure that聽study聽centres do not compromise聽standard set by the university management.
鈥淭his has contributed positively towards successful exercise in聽聽the聽university in recent times,鈥澛爏aid Ladipo.
Moreover, he聽said聽the monitoring do not only ensure that standards聽are not compromised聽but also the management get to understand where the聽study聽centre is lacking and the need for improvement.
This has also served as an avenue through which physical infrastructure of the聽centre were assessed聽and recommendations made聽to the management for further necessary action, he added.
He commended the management of the聽centre for the good job they聽have聽been doing.
“I came to the examination hall and saw the seating arrangement, it was excellent, indeed the standard of the university,”聽Ladipo said.
He further commended the centre for making the security architecture impressive and the environment conducive for effective learning.
Dwelling on the staff聽of the centre, he reiterated that the staffers聽have聽shown high sense of responsibility聽in聽the aspect of聽exam supervision.
He urged the聽centre management聽to deploy more of its advocacy so as to create more awareness on the existence of the聽centre and the university as a whole.
As to the realization of successful conduct of examination, the聽Deputy Registrar advised聽the management of the聽centre to be up and doing and ensure that their duties are performed聽in聽accordance with the聽laid聽down rules and regulations of the聽university.
He聽promised to forward all the advises聽and complaints realised to the management.
He assured that the management is ready to listen to the聽centre’s suggestions聽and advises聽at any given time.
