The 水果派 of Nigeria’s Kaduna Study Centre is expected to host the National Universities Commission聽(NUC) accreditation team on Monday, November聽14,聽2022.

According to the director聽of the centre,聽Mr. Yusuf聽聽Abdullahi in an interview with聽水果派 News,聽the accreditation exercise would come in聽two phases:聽on聽14 and 27聽of聽November.

He also stated that the聽centre is fully prepared to a very large extent to host the聽exercise.

The programmes affected in the first phase of the accreditation are Islamic and聽Arabic Studies from聽the Faculty of Arts,聽while Human聽Kinetics, Health Education, and Agricultural Education from聽the Faculty of聽Education making the number of the programmes to be five,聽said Abdullahi.

The second phase,聽which is also expected to come up on聽November聽27,聽2022 would affect only Agricultural Extension and聽Management from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

On his part,聽the聽Dean,聽Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Ahmed NJidda narrated that the NUC accreditation exercise it an activity that is done every five years.

鈥淭his is to ensure all programmes do not go below the expected National Universities Commission鈥檚聽benchmark.

鈥淢oreover,聽it is聽to ensure聽that聽all the university programmes聽do not drop below the academic standard of the regulatory body (NUC),鈥 he said.

So far, the dean stated,聽the聽faculty has聽one programme to undergo the exercise which聽is聽Agricultural Economics and Extension.

鈥淭herefore, the聽faculty is fully prepared to the best of聽our聽ability,鈥 said NJidda.
