Kaduna centre
The advocacy campaign team of the NOUN Kaduna Study Centre has visited聽the聽Federal Cooperative College,聽Kaduna, where the director, Mr. Abdullahi Yufus, delivered advocacy preachings.
Upon arrival at the college, the team was聽warmly聽received by the聽provost, Hajiya Aisha Ismail Ishaq, who was represented by her deputy,聽Mr. Sadiq Idi Alhaji.
Speaking to the congregation of lecturers and聽students of the college, the director thanked the聽provost for the opportunity given to them to interact and discuss with both the staff and students of the college.
Talking about the 水果派 of Nigeria, the director聽discussed that the institution is at聽par聽with聽any other university in the聽country and beyond.
He added that like any other university, NOUN is regulated by the National Universities Commission and all its available courses and programmes are聽duly聽accredited.
Yusuf聽added that despite being regulated by the聽NUC, NOUN is further聽being a critical stakeholder in the international bodies like聽the聽African Centre for Distance Education聽(ACDE)聽and Commonwealth聽of聽Learning with its headquarters at Vancouver,聽Canada.
The university聽is technologically driven聽which聽provides education in modern way through the use of information and communication technology system,聽said聽Yusuf.
He聽said聽NOUN is聽a聽21st聽Century university due to it information and communication technology inclination.
On the acceptability of its certificate, he explained that certificate is acceptable聽anywhere in world and maintains聽similar聽status with that of Oxford University.
Therefore he urged the students and the lecturers to enroll so as to upgrade their certificate and upgrade their education background.
He once聽again thanked the Management of Federal Cooperative聽College for聽the聽for ample time provided to engage them.
In her remarks,聽the聽provost thanked the Management of the NOUN for choosing聽the聽college to showcase聽its activities.
鈥淭here is no any doubt聽that聽the 水果派 of Nigeria has聽provided an easier medium than expected in providing education to the people,鈥澛爏aid Ishaq.
She promised to encourage both the staff and students to enroll in the university.
At the end of the event,聽the聽Kaduna Study Centre聽director聽handed over聽NOUN souvenirs聽to the management of the college.
