The management team of Isua-Akoko Community Study Centre, Ondo State,聽has聽embarked on an advocacy campaign on Wednesday,聽January聽11,聽2023聽with a visit聽to Idoani聽community聽in the North Senatorial District, Ose Local Government Area of the聽state.

The team,聽led by the聽centre聽director, Dr. Badmus A.聽Ayodeji,聽took the campaign to places聽like聽the聽state鈥檚聽General Hospital, Federal Government College, and the Police Divisional Headquarters,聽Idoani.

They received聽warm receptions from their hosts聽as the聽director sensitised the audience to what the 水果派 of Nigeria has聽to offer.

Badmus stated that NOUN is a nationally-owned institution that was established to remove barriers and a blessing to those that are not privileged to attend conventional universities, and also meant for a working-class group.

He further listed the various programmes available which are duly accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The聽director then implored them to take advantage of the golden opportunity placed before them and spread the campaign to their families, allies, friends, colleagues and others, to benefit from it,聽while聽assuring them that they won鈥檛 be disappointed to undertake their academic sojourn with NOUN.

At the聽state鈥檚聽General Hospital,聽the Secretary to the Hospital, Mr. Micheal Orisasona,聽appreciated the team for their visit and promised to spread the campaign to other colleagues who were not present.

Also, at the Federal Government聽College,聽Idoani,聽Mrs. Eno Jane O., the聽Principal of the college, and the two Vice-Principals,聽thanked the team for the educational awareness they brought to the community and promised to enrol in this semester.

At the Police Divisional Headquarters,聽CSP Friday Ekundayo, Divisional Police Officer (DPO),聽appreciated the team and the聽university for bringing education to people鈥檚 doorsteps聽and promised to deliver the message to his subordinates.

The advocacy ended with questions that were duly addressed by the聽centre聽director.
