The new Ag: Mr. Moses Olakunle (4th Right) addressing the stakeholders

Following聽his appointment as the Ag.聽Director聽of the newly created Ilaro Community Study聽Centre,聽Yewa South Local聽Government聽Area of聽Ogun State, Mr. Moses Ayokunle Ola has paid聽a聽courtesy visit to the聽Palace of the Ilaro Monarch,聽Oba Kehinde Olugbenle,聽the聽Paramount聽King of聽Yewa聽Land.

The familiarisation visit,聽which took place on聽Monday, August聽22, 2022聽was to intimate the paramount king and his cabinet of the new study centre of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN)聽in the community, said Ola.

According to him, the centre was created to benefit the people of Yewa Land, saying that 鈥淭he study centre is close to your doorstep to attain accessible education without any difficulties. Just as this centre, NOUN has over hundred study centres across the nation.鈥

In his聽response, the聽monarch thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters,聽and the entire management team who made the community’s dream聽a聽reality.

鈥淚 am sincerely grateful to the聽management.聽The community聽has聽almost lost hope on the creation of聽a study centre.聽I have waited for over聽10聽years as the journey聽(to establish the centre)聽started in 2011,鈥漢e聽said.

The Oba, therefore, appealed for the immediate commencement of academic activities at the centre as his people cannot wait聽to聽start coming out for registration.

The monarch聽gave his assurances聽of support and cooperation towards the new study centre.

In furtherance of聽his聽familiarisation with stakeholders, the director聽also聽held a meeting with the High Chiefs and facilitators,聽even as he inspected聽facilities,聽as the identified聽inadequacies were agreed to聽be聽put in place.

Meanwhile,聽prospective students that visited the centre were given assurances聽that their academic needs聽would be adequately聽handled聽by the聽centre, in one hand and the university聽management聽in general.
