
The advocacy team of the聽Hadejia聽Community聽Study Centre, Jigawa State,聽has visited聽the community secretariat of聽a聽Social聽Development聽Club聽that focuses on聽proffering solutions聽to the聽socio-economic development聽issues聽in Hadejia聽Local Government Area.
The聽centre representative Mr. Atiku Sani Ringim,聽in a discussion with聽水果派 News聽correspondent,聽stated that the team visited the club in order聽to build on the existing relationship with the聽centre in the area of awareness and聽to聽seek for their intervention in some areas of concern.
Ringim said聽the聽centre聽had聽considered聽鈥淗adeja聽Ina Mafita Club鈥澛燼s integral in trying to reach out to the larger populace of聽the community due to聽its聽grass-roots聽activities.
He聽thanked聽the club for granting the team audience in order聽to intimate them on the need for the two parties to collaborate.
Speaking聽during the visit, Ringim聽explained the聽benefits聽of study at NOUN which聽lay untapped and expressed聽the need for the good people of Hadejia to tap聽them.
He added that NOUN is the the聽university of the moment that allows聽one to learn at his own pace.
The centre representative, however,聽outlined聽some major issues that confront the existence of the聽study centre,聽which include聽the聽lack of fence that makes聽it vulnerable.
He, therefore,聽called聽for the intervention of the聽club as an integral partner to the existence of the聽community聽study centre.
Responding, the Chairman of聽the聽club,聽Mr. Baidu GajoYan聽Leman,聽represented by his deputy,聽Mr. Hussaini Shehu,聽thanked聽the聽centre鈥檚聽management for identifying聽with聽their relevance in聽an effort to take聽the聽centre to greater heights.
The chairman聽promised to intervene in the聽fencing of the entire聽study聽centre building, assuring also聽to聽collaborate with the community stakeholders for students鈥櫬爏ponsorship and scholarships.
On聽the issue of advocacy campaign, Yan Leman聽promised to collaborate with the management of Hadejia Community Study聽Centre聽for massive advocacy聽campaigns聽within and outside聽the聽environs.
