Gulak centre’s visit to Union Bank
The聽Gulak Community Study Centre of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN), Adamawa聽State,聽has taken聽its advocacy drive to the Union Bank of Nigeria office, Mubi town, Mubi Local Government Area,聽Adamawa聽State.
Acting聽director聽of the centre, Mrs. Magaret Yamtu, introduced programmes聽offered at NOUN and the flexible nature of the system to personnel of the聽bank聽during an interactive session.
Yamtu urged the staff to take advantage of the flexibility and cost effectiveness of the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode of instructional delivery, promoted by the聽university to improve themselves and update their academic qualifications.
Responding, the聽Branch聽Manager,聽Union Bank of Nigeria,聽Mubi, Mr. Musa Hassan, who was visibly happy with聽the visit,聽approved聽the immediate enrollment of聽four聽students from the branch.
The manager聽expressed his gratitude on behalf of his staff for the visit of the director and members of her advocacy team.
Hassan promised to work in partnership with the university to encourage more staff to enroll at the university.
