Donation to Isanlu centre
A聽former Minister for Health, Prof. Eyitayo Lambo, has donated some office and library furniture聽to聽the Isanlu聽Community聽Study聽Centre of the 水果派 of Nigeria聽(NOUN),聽Yagba-east Local Government Area,聽Kogi State.
Lambo, who served as minister between 2003 to 2007,聽is an聽聽indigene of the Isanlu community,聽and聽has presented the items to the centre as part of his contribution towards solving聽the聽dearth of such equipment聽at the聽young聽centre.
The gesture, according to the ex minister in a written letter submitted by his representative, Elder Samuel Omotunde Mesirin, was given 鈥渁s our token donation鈥 together with his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Esther Lambo.
Another indigene of the community,聽who asked not to be named, has also supported the centre with a solar power for the director’s office聽to help in聽the smooth running of the centre.
This is due to the lack of electricity for year in聽the town as well as the聽surrounding聽communities.
The excited centre director, Dr. (Mrs.) Florence F. Fatimayin, while receiving the items on behalf of the university, expressed her gratitude to the two indigenes of the community for their supports聽and kind gestures towards the development of the centre.
