
The Bursar,聽水果派 of Nigeria聽(NOUN), Mallam Nasir G.聽Marafa, has monitored the ongoing 2023_1聽e-examination at聽the聽Kaduna聽Study Centre聽and聽the聽Nigerian Air Force Special Study Centre,聽Kaduna.
The NAF聽centre was his first point of call for the聽monitoring exercise, where he was聽welcomed聽by director of the聽centre,聽Prof.聽Nda E. Mundi.
Shortly after monitoring how the centre聽was聽handling聽the exercise, the聽bursar,聽accompanied by the聽centre director,聽engaged on facility inspection.
The director, thereafter, thanked聽the聽university management for聽its聽support to the聽centre聽and underlined the聽importance of monitoring聽the聽exercise, which encourages them to聽keep up聽with the聽expectations聽as well as聽maintain standard.
Mundi, therefore, appealed to the university management to assist聽in聽areas of infrastructure, notwithstanding the centre鈥檚 鈥済igantic effort鈥 in聽reaching out to聽the authorities聽of the Nigerian Air Force for their intervention.
Shortly after, Marafa聽proceeded to the Kaduna Study Centre for similar exercise where he was聽received聽by the聽centre director,聽Mr.聽Yusuf Abdullahi and the Head of Administration of the聽centre,聽Hajiya Fati Yakubu.
He聽monitored the conduct of聽the聽11am session as well as聽the 2pm session聽of the examination at the centre.
The bursar was then taken on a tour of the facilities,聽where he visited the offices,聽library, store and,聽later,聽held聽discussions with the centre’s head.
In聽another related development, the聽bursar聽has聽visited the聽Conference Marking Centre for the North-west, holding also at the Kaduna campus of the university聽to ascertain the success of the exercise.
In聽a聽chat聽with the representative of the Directorate of聽Examination and Assessment, Mr.聽Hassan聽Abdulmumin,聽水果派 News聽learned that the exercise聽has been a success, as聽scripts have聽since been marked, packed, loaded and transported to the university headquarters for safe keeping.
At the end of his visit, the聽bursar聽told聽水果派 News聽that聽he was delighted with the conduct of the exercise at both聽centres.
The spacing, orderliness and the measures聽taken聽by the聽centres to ensure smooth conduct of the examination were聽highly commendable, said Marafa.
He urged the management and staff of both聽centres to ensure that all the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the examination聽were strictly聽followed聽so as to maintain聽the set聽standard.
Marafa also聽assured the聽centres that all areas of interest that need attention were recorded and shall be presented to the management for further action.
