The former chancellor of聽 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN),聽 His Royal Majesty, Ambassador Lawrence聽 Agubuzu, KSM, has聽 unveiled a new book, titled ‘In line of Duty’.
The 14-chapter and 87 pages book, which was launched on Sunday, 26th November, 2023, is a compendium of selected speeches and addresses.
It was reviewed by the former Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo.
Speaking at the event,聽 the chairman of the occasion, former聽 General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division Nigerian Army, Enugu, General Chris Abutu Garuba (Rtd),聽 described聽 Agubuzu, as a diligent, hardworking and community leader, who with determination compiled the intellectual piece for human consumption.
He further recommended the book聽 for everyone, particularly those who thirst for knowledge.
The occasion attracted dignitaries from far and near, including top government officials.
Vice- Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Olufemi Peters,聽 represented by the Enugu Study Centre director, Prof. Alexander Uche Onyia also attended the event. .
Other personalities聽 present at the occasion were His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Barrister Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, represented by the Commissioner of Local Government, Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Okey Ogbodo, the Vice Chancellor, Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Prof. Aloysius Michaels Nnabugwu Okolie, among others.
