The Badagry聽Study聽Centre of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN), has taken delivery聽of聽a 60KV Marapco power generator from the university management.
The purchase聽and supply of聽the聽generator was aimed at improving and providing an uninterrupted source of power at the centre for an improved academic activities.
It may be recalled聽that聽聽the Vice-Chancellor,聽Prof. Olufemi Peters,聽in September聽2023,聽while on a working visit to the centre, promised a power generator to mitigate the聽incessant outrage which was threatening the smooth administration of academic activities at the centre.
The Vice-Chancellor registered his intention of giving the centre a facelift and providing it with all the necessary facilities required for hitch free operations.
“The generator will serve as an alternative power supply during the intermittent power outage of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) in that area,” he said.
The centre director, Dr. Julius Paul Eyanuku,聽thanked the Vice-Chancellor for the prompt action,聽which according to him,聽will improve both academic activities and staff comfort at the聽centre.
