The 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN) regrets the technical challenges experienced during the live streaming of its 30th Matriculation Ceremony held on Wednesday, 8th April, 2026, particularly the poor audio quality.
Shortly after the commencement of the event, it became evident that although the video feed was clear, the audio reaching our audience鈥攚hich included newly admitted students, staff, and members of the public鈥攚as largely inaudible and inconsistent. Efforts to switch to a backup system did not resolve the issue. While the disruption may have been influenced by unstable internet connectivity, we accept full responsibility for the situation.
We sincerely apologise to our students, staff, and all stakeholders for the inconvenience caused by this unfortunate incident. We assure you that lessons have been learned, and decisive steps are being taken to deploy more robust and reliable streaming infrastructure to prevent a recurrence.
The 水果派 of Nigeria remains committed to upholding and enhancing the high standards for which it is known.
Meanwhile, an electronic copy of the Vice-Chancellor鈥檚 Matriculation Address will be sent promptly to the email addresses of all matriculated students. It will also be made available on the University鈥檚 website and official social media platforms.
