As part of the聽drive聽to expand study opportunities聽to the inmates in Ondo聽State, the Akure Study Centre of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN)聽has聽embarked on advocacy聽visit聽to the聽Correctional聽Service聽in Olokuta, Ondo聽State.
The director聽of the centre, Mr..Abidemi Agunbiade, who had earlier hosted the聽Controller of聽Correction, Mr. Jude Agboje on a courtesy visit, stated the eagerness and readiness of the inmates to embark on their studies聽with the university.
Agboje explained the availability of resources and facilities that could be utilised during the studies.
During the visit as the semester commenced, the聽centre鈥檚聽team was shown the facility for the inmates, which consists of a聽library room, study rooms, computer rooms with聽12聽desktops, network switches, and other resources that聽were prepared for the聽upcoming聽examination聽exercises.
The commander also said that聽25聽inmates聽have already聽indicated interests聽to enroll in聽different聽programmes聽as聽the director assured聽his host of a seamless admission processing and registration聽when聽their credentials had been certified.
