The Vice-Chancellor of the 水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN), Professor Olufemi Peters has assured partners of the Africa Centre聽of Excellence on Technology聽Enhanced Learning (ACETEL), that the university will continue to support them for the benefit of all.
He said this while declaring close the 3-day workshop on cyber-security and digitalization, organized by NOUN鈥檚 ACETEL in collaboration with EFCC, NITDA and CEA-SMIA.
The Vice-Chancellor extended his appreciation to the partners both in Nigeria and the West African sub-region.
鈥淧rivate and Public institutions should work together to make our cyberspace safe from cybercrimes. We shouldn鈥檛 wait on the government to do everything as we are all affected by the cyber issues,鈥 Peters added.
Earlier, the centre聽leader, CEA-SMIA, Prof Jules Degila thanked the Vice-chancellor for his support and encouragement In organizing the workshop.
He also recognized the support of other partners.
鈥淭his workshop is an example of the things we are doing right and a further look at what we can do better, going forward,鈥 he added.
