
The Abuja聽Model聽Study聽Centre,聽水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN) has聽held聽a聽seminar/project orientation for its students.
The programme,聽which聽centred聽around聽the final-year and postgraduate students,聽was part of the activities for the 2023_2 academic session聽聽and it聽took place on聽Wednesday, August聽30, 2023聽at the centre in Dutse Alhaji, Abuja.
Students聽from聽across the eight faculties of the university聽attended, totaling聽about聽200聽hundred, which was chaired by the centre director, Prof. Sam Ayodele.
According to Ayodele,聽the centre organises the programme every semester聽in order to equip and prepare its students for academic research writing so that they can stand tall among their contemporaries elsewhere.
The director, in his opening remarks, informed the students that the聽orientation聽was part of the fall out of the external supervisors鈥櫬爎emarks during moderation and M.Sc project defense.

A聽lecture was delivered by the centre鈥檚聽Chief聽Counselor, Mr. Kingsley Arogunyo, who gave a detailed and comprehensive steps towards writing a good research project.
It聽began from how to select a researchable project topic and discussed the process chapter-by-chapter, including聽the principles聽guiding聽abstract writing.
The students,聽on their parts,聽relished聽the experience and called on the centre management to give them more opportunities of this nature to learn more.
At the end of the presentation, students were given opportunity to ask questions and answers were given.
