The Mock Accreditation Team of the聽水果派 of Nigeria (NOUN),聽has聽visited the Abeokuta聽Study聽Centre聽in preparation聽for the forthcoming National聽Universities聽Commission鈥檚聽(NUC) main exercise.
The team,聽led by聽its聽Chairman, Prof.聽Emeritus Godwin Sogolo,聽comprised of聽Prof. Emeritus Julius Okojie (OON), Prof. Olufemi Otubanjo, Prof. Emmanuel Oyedipe, Prof. Godwin Ogbadu and Mr. Alhandu Bala Gimba Usman (PAR),聽was at聽the centre to asses聽its聽readiness and preparedness聽so as聽to聽make the聽necessary adjustments in meeting up with the actual NUC accreditation聽exercise.
They were聽received by the聽director聽of the centre, Dr. Oba-Adenuga Olusegun Adeleke, and the staff members, who later took the visitors to a聽tour聽of the centre, showing them their聽offices.
The chairman,聽in his statement, said聽the importance of the accreditation聽cannot be overemphasised, as such the聽centre聽needs improvement to meet up with the expectations of the聽regulating body.
At the end of the tour, which saw them checked聽offices聽of the counsellors,聽library, and store rooms,聽all in a聽well-arranged聽manner, they聽expressed聽satisfaction聽with what they saw.
They also聽extended their聽appreciation聽to the entire staff聽of the centre, urging them聽to聽keep the tempo by聽seeing聽better results on the recommendations they assigned to the centre.
On聽his part,聽the聽director appreciated the visit and the tremendous input of the team as well as聽the聽university鈥檚聽unflinching support.
